Spend your Saturday at MoMA and learn more about the brain’s processes of visual compositions. This unique approach to viewing the museums collection will engage parts of your brain that most people otherwise do not think about. Museum educator, Lauren Kaplan, will utilize the museums vast collection to lead the group through various viewing exercises to exemplify the multitude of perceptual possibilities of viewing art. This Gallery Session will provide you with the opportunity to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of art and the brain's ability to process visual information.
Ever wonder what’s going on ‘up there’ when you’re looking at art? Join MoMA’s educators for a gallery walk through to answer these questions and understand what “your brain on art” looks like.
Gallery Sessions are free for members and museum ticket holders. No registration is required.
