Fresh off the release of their latest album, TRU, the indie rockers from Connecticut, Ovlov, are coming to Trans-Pecos on December 22 to kick off the weekend before Christmas. This noisy act straddles the line between indie, shoegaze, and emo music and this is gig is expected to be one of the best DIY shows ending the year. They are joined by Mister Goblin for their record release and Rock Solid as openers, both of which are sure to amaze.
Stuart Berman of Pitchfork writes, “…for Harlett, making a new Ovlov record isn’t simply a matter of finding the right players and amassing the sufficient number of songs; it’s about waiting until his internal reservoir of pent-up frustrations and messy feelings is ready to burst.”
We’ll catch you there.
Ovlov is NYC's most treasured indie rock bands. They play with Mister Goblin and Rock Solid.
