Tickets are now on sale for the Atlantic Theater Company’s Blue Ridge—an unapologetically southern, razor-sharp, dark comedy written by Abby Rosebrock (Dido of Idaho), directed by Obie Award winner Taibi Magar (Is God Is, The Great Leap). Those well-versed in the Off Broadway scene will remember the Atlantic Theater Company as the boundary-pushing theater behind Tony-award-winning musical The Band’s Visit… but Blue Ridge is an entirely different kind of play.

Set in Southern Appalachia, Blue Ridge tells the story of Alison, a progressive high-school teacher with a rage problem who retaliates against her unscrupulous boss, and spends 6 months in a church-sponsored halfway house, “where she attends to everyone’s recovery but her own.” A tale of southern hell-raising, heartbreak and healing.

Starring: Marin Ireland (Tony Award nominee and Theatre World Award winner for reasons to be pretty), Kyle Beltran (In The Heights, The Cherry Orchard), Peter Mark Kendall (Six Degrees of Separation, The Rose Tattoo), Nicole Lewis (Hair, Rent), Kristolyn Lloyd (Dear Evan Hansen), and Chris Stack (Ugly Lies The Bone).

Previews begin December 12th, so catch this highly anticipated new show before it ends on January 26th.

Tickets: $66 - $86

Run Time: 2.5 hrs
